We will cross over to the next place

Christian faith is not the absence of troubles, trials and tribulations, it is the presence of God in the life of a believer.

When Jesus is in us and we’re in Him, we must triumph over all the ravenous storms and winds of life when they come.

Jesus teaches about putting our faith in Him but not focusing on the storms and winds of life that can cause fear in us so we won’t move ahead.

“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

Mark 4:39–41.

Believers in Jesus must know that their faith is not tested in the still waters and good days, it is tested in storms and bad days.

When the storms and winds of life beat the boat the most, it is time to believe and trust Jesus the more.

This is because when we’re together with Emmanuel (God with us) in the same boat, we’re assured of crossing over to the other side; we must reach the finish line triumphantly.

Where is your faith amid the storms of this world?

“O Lord God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O Lord? Your faithfulness also surrounds You. You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, You still them.”

Psalm 89:8–9.

Keep the faith!
